One designed email to a group of your members: pick a template, choose who receives it, build it with blocks, test it, then send it or schedule it.

Steps

  1. Press New campaign and pick a template, or Blank.
  2. Choose the recipients with the quick groups and the filters.
  3. Build the email with blocks.
  4. Check the subject, send yourself a test, then send now or schedule.

Who receives it#

Pick a quick group, such as Active, Expiring in 14 days or Stopped coming, then narrow it with Refine. Each quick group shows how many people it holds. The filters follow the same rules as Members › More filters. The count updates as you change them, and it is the list that will leave.

Members who turned off marketing emails, who have no valid address or who unsubscribed earlier never receive a campaign. The card on the right shows how many are left out, and why. Under the filters, Who gets it lists the people who will receive it, with a search. Leave out removes one person from this send, and Left out by you counts them.

Save as group keeps a set of filters for next time. A saved group is read again at every send, so new members who match are included.

Sending, scheduling and the monthly quota#

Pro and Max include a number of campaign emails each month, shown at the top of the Campaigns page. One recipient is one email, and a test sent to yourself does not count. The count restarts on the 1st of the month, in your studio's time zone.

When a campaign is bigger than what is left, the send button stays off and a line under it says how many emails are left: choose fewer members, or wait for the 1st.

A scheduled campaign takes its list when it leaves, in your studio's time zone. A new account sends a limited number of emails a day: the first ones leave at once, the rest follow the next day at the same time, automatically, and the screen says so before you send.

You can schedule up to 90 days ahead, and Cancel the schedule stops it from leaving.

The time offered for a scheduled send is the next quarter hour at least 15 minutes ahead. If a time is in the past, a line under the field says so.

If a send fails, nothing leaves and the draft is kept: the window stays open, says why, and offers Try again when trying again can help.

If a scheduled campaign has not left by its time, the list and its page say Due and the time. Choose Send now to send it, or pick a new time.

If the server does not answer in time, the campaign may already be leaving. The window then offers See the campaign instead of Try again, so it cannot go out twice.

On a draft or a scheduled campaign, the three-dot menu in the top bar offers Duplicate, Save as my template and Delete. A copy is named after the original, with (copy) added. A deleted campaign goes to the bin. The Campaigns page filters by status (All, Drafts, Scheduled, Sent) with counts, has a search, and a three-dot menu on each row with Preview, Duplicate, Save as my template and, for a draft, Delete draft.

On the Free plan you can write campaigns, preview them and send yourself a test.

During your trial: 50 emails in total#

Path: Campaigns.

While your studio is on the trial that comes with a new account and you have not chosen a paid plan, campaigns are limited to 50 emails in total, over the whole trial. A banner at the top of the Campaigns page says so, with a Plans & billing button. A test sent to yourself is never counted.

A campaign that is bigger than what is left is refused, and the message says how many emails remain. Your draft is kept.

The limit disappears as soon as you choose a plan. The emails that your automations and group messages send are limited too during the trial, to 100 a day. Receipts, booking confirmations, login codes and invitations are never limited.

Languages and last checks

Path: Campaigns.

On the last step, Check and send, a studio that serves a second message language is offered to add a version in it. Members who read that language receive it, and a field left empty keeps the main text.

Before it leaves, a checklist lists what is still missing: the subject and the preview text, the link addresses, the image descriptions, the empty blocks and how many people will receive it. A problem that stops the send says why under the button, and Fix opens the block. A warning does not stop the send. We check that each link address is written correctly, not that the page it opens works. Send now asks you to confirm in a window that shows who gets it. Once sent, an email cannot be called back.

Results

Opened and clicked are counted once per person. Booked within 7 days counts the bookings and purchases made by people who received the campaign, in the 7 days after it left.

The results page also shows how many emails were delivered, bounced and unsubscribed, which links were clicked, and when the first opens came. Who got it lists every person with a status (Opened, Clicked, Booked, Not opened, Bounced) and their last action. Make a group saves the people of the current filter as a group, and Export gives a file. Duplicate starts a new campaign from this one, and Save as my template keeps it in My templates.

Emails that could not be sent at all are counted apart, as not delivered.

Resend opens a window where you choose a new subject and when it leaves. It goes only to the people who did not open the first email, and it uses your monthly quota like any campaign.

Each recipient's file shows the campaigns they received, opened or clicked in its timeline.

Troubleshooting

Blocks

On a computer, drag a block from the left into the email, or move it with the arrows. On a phone, the campaign is a list of blocks: tap one to edit it.

In the editor, a Class or Event block shows the same card your members get: places left, name, day and time, coach and the Book now button. The class list gives the day of each session, such as Mon 19 Oct · 07:00 · HIIT Blast.

Class, Membership offer and Event read your schedule and your plans when the email leaves: the time, the places left and the price are always current. A class or event card brings a Book button while there are places left, and an offer card brings a button to buy it. Coach shows the name and details of one coach.

You write directly in the email. Click a text block and a formatting bar appears under the bar of the editor: Paragraph or Heading, bold, italic, underline, link, lists, alignment, Field and Clear formatting. Type / on an empty line to add a block. Pasting from Word, Google Docs or a web page keeps bold, italic, underline, links and lists, and removes everything else.

The email in the editor looks like the email that leaves: its font, your brand colour and your real footer, even when the software is in dark mode. Use Fields shown for, above the email, to read it as another recipient. The arrows next to it go to the previous and the next recipient, so you see the first name change. A recipient with no first name shows what will really be sent.

Field inserts a value that changes from one person to the next, such as the first name, the plan, the plan end date or the next class. A field is one piece that typing cannot break. In the block settings, Fields in this block lets you choose what to write when a value is missing. Class can show one class, your next sessions or this week, with how many to show. The header with your logo and the footer with your address and the unsubscribe link are fixed. Colours and fonts come from your theme.

An image needs its description, and a block left empty stops the send until you fill it or remove it: an image without a photo, a class, offer, event or coach not chosen, or a button without a label or a link.
