Barre studio software for Thailand: bookings, members and payments in one place

A barre studio running fast-paced group classes at the rail, where clients usually buy a card and choose their own times. The owner wants the room right-sized every session.

In short: MoveMembers is booking, membership and payment software for gyms, studios and camps in Thailand. It is free up to 20 active members, then Pro costs 2,490 baht a month and Max 4,990 baht. It connects to your own LINE Official Account, records PromptPay payments and runs in 15 languages.

Problems

Three problems a barre studio runs into every week

The rail is the capacity

A barre room is a wall with a rail along it, and each client needs an arm's length of it. The teacher counts stations, not chairs. You enter that number as the places of the session, booking stops at the last station, and the next name goes onto the waitlist and is told by message if a place opens.

The card nobody finishes

A client who paid for ten classes last month and came four times is a sale slipping away. Each profile shows the credits left and the date of the last visit, so on a quiet Monday you pick the clients who have gone silent and write to them on LINE or by email.

Eight sharp, and a gap at the rail

Class starts on the beat and the music does not wait. Someone who drops out at seven that morning leaves a hole the whole room can see. The cut-off is written once in your booking rules: before it, the credit returns and the next person on the waitlist moves in; after it, the class counts as used.

What the software does

How MoveMembers helps a barre studio

Only what the software really does for a barre studio

  • A card of classes is valid on the whole timetable, so a client who likes the early rail one week and the lunchtime one the next never needs two products. The credit leaves when the place is booked and is handed back for a cancellation made in time.
  • From the web app on their own phone, clients reserve a place or give it up, and they can sign in with LINE. The front desk is no longer where the question of room on Thursday gets answered.
  • A reminder before class, on LINE or by email, is the last chance for the people who cannot make it to cancel in time, and the place that comes loose reaches the waitlist.
  • A friend who tagged along books through the studio's public link, no account first, and you can mark that first class as an introduction.
  • At the desk a card is sold in a few taps: choose the client, choose the product, take cash, a PromptPay QR, a transfer or a card, and a numbered receipt reaches her by email or on LINE.

Passes

Memberships and passes a barre studio usually sells

  • Ten classes for the regular who chooses her own hours
  • A monthly plan for three mornings at the bar each week
  • Five classes to carry a newcomer through the first month

In Thailand

Working in Thailand

Priced in baht: a barre studio sells class cards for PromptPay, transfer or cash, with numbered receipts and LINE messages.

Limits

What the software does not do for a barre studio

  • A client can pick her own spot along the rail on a room map, a Pro plan feature. Left off, spot choice leaves the booking as a place in the class, and the teacher decides where everyone stands
  • Cards are sold, never silently charged: a client's bank card is billed on a schedule only if she chose instalments on a product that offers them, or switched on auto-pay for a monthly plan you enabled. There is no direct debit from a bank account

Questions

Questions owners ask

Yes. A session has its own number of places, so you enter the stations that really exist along your rail and no booking goes past the last one. When the class is full, further clients wait in line and get a message the moment a place frees up; nobody at the desk counts heads by hand.

Yes. A ten-class card and a monthly plan can sit side by side on one profile, and the system picks which of them each booking is taken from, so nobody has to choose at the door. A card loses its credit when the place is booked and gets it back when the cancellation falls inside your cut-off.

Say a client drops out at seven for the eight o'clock class. If that falls before the cut-off you set, her credit goes back on the card and the first name on the waitlist is moved onto the bar; if it falls after, the class is spent. The cut-off is one setting for the whole studio, so the front desk has nothing to negotiate at the door.

Yes. A studio with up to 20 active clients pays nothing, is never asked for a card number, and is never put on a countdown. Booking, the waitlist, class cards and numbered receipts all come with it, so the first timetable can be built, sold and run for real before any paid plan comes up.

Yes. A regular sends the studio's public booking link to a friend, who picks the class, leaves a name with a phone number or an email and turns up in grip socks: nothing to install, no password to invent. Mark that class as an introduction and the teacher knows who is new at the bar.

Yes. You declare a buffer once, and the timetable stops pretending the next class can start the minute the last one ends, which leaves time to put the mats and ankle weights away and let the next group in. Closure days are declared once too, for the whole schedule rather than class by class.
