Do I need a developer to use the API?
Yes, but only for a few hours. The button that starts sign-in or booking is a handful of lines on your side, and the private developer guide does the rest: it is filled in with your own values and ready-to-paste code, so your developer is not reading generic documentation.
Is it secure?
The connection uses standard OpenID Connect with PKCE, the same protocol banks and large platforms rely on, so any certified library works on your developer's side. Secrets are read on your server, never in a browser, and a member approves each app before it can see anything about them.
Does it work with WordPress or Wix?
It works with any site that can run server-side code, or with a plugin built to speak OpenID Connect. WordPress and most page builders support this through a plugin your developer installs; a fully static site with no server code cannot exchange the login on its own.
What happens if I downgrade my plan?
Connected apps pause: they stop working, but nothing about them is deleted. Members stay connected, the apps' settings and secrets are kept as they were, and everything comes back to life the moment you upgrade again.
