Is this the software for a gym in Vietnam?
Yes if your members pay by VietQR, bank transfer or MoMo, if you want the software in Vietnamese for your desk and your members, and if you want every payment on the member's file. No if you need Zalo messages sent from the software, or electronic invoices issued by it.
Software built for another market
Most gym software was designed for gyms in the US or Europe. These are the cracks that show in Vietnam.
Transfers with nothing to match them
A member pays by QR from a banking app and sends a screenshot on Zalo. Someone at the desk has to find the booking it belongs to.
An interface your desk does not read easily
Coaches and front desk staff end up guessing their way through an English-only screen forty times a day.
Seats held for people who never pay
When the transfer comes later, a class seat is either given away too early or kept for a member who never pays.
Plans priced for another market
Plans written for US or European gyms can cost more than a single studio in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi can justify.
Payments tracked in a notebook
A member who forgets two months in a row is money nobody notices leaving.
What MoveMembers does about it
The bank QR your members already scan, a screen in Vietnamese, and a seat that waits for the money.
VietQR and MoMo, as payment methods
Upload your own QR once. The desk shows it with the amount beside it, the member pays and sends the reference, and you confirm. It is a manual flow: MoveMembers takes no fee on it and never touches the money.
Vietnamese for the desk and the members
The software, the member page and the booking page are in Vietnamese, with dates and amounts written the Vietnamese way.
A seat that waits for the payment
Turn on one setting and a booking holds the seat until you confirm the payment. A studio that never turns it on behaves exactly as before.
How money actually moves in a studio here
Cash at the counter, a bank QR, a MoMo payment, and a card for the few members who prefer one. All of it ends up on the same profile.
A VietQR with the amount next to it
You upload the QR of your own bank account once. The screen shows the amount in large type beside the code, so nobody types a figure. The member pays from their banking app and sends the reference.
Nothing confirms it for you, and we say so
MoveMembers does not read your bank or MoMo account, so it cannot tick transfers off by itself. The desk marks the payment received when the reference matches, which is one tap, and it replaces a screenshot and a name matched from memory.
MoMo and bank transfer, the same way
Each one is its own payment method with its own label, so the receipt says what the member really used.
Cash and cards, recorded like the rest
The walk-in who pays cash gets a profile and a payment in the same few taps. Cards go through your own Stripe account where your business can open one, and the software works fine without it.
MoveMembers takes no percentage of what you collect, whatever the method. The money goes from your member to your account.
A receipt in đồng, from your studio
A transfer with nothing to show for it is the payment a member argues about three months later.
- Your receipt prefix and a footer note of your own are set once in Settings, Finance, and every receipt issued after that carries them.
- Each receipt has its own number, the date, the member, the method, the period it covers and the amount paid.
- The amount is written in đồng, without decimals and with a dot between thousands, because the currency follows your studio.
- It leaves as a PDF by email, and Vietnamese names print with every accent in place.
These are payment receipts from your studio. They are not electronic invoices under Vietnamese tax rules, and MoveMembers does not issue those. If you must issue them, keep the tool you use for that.
Vietnamese for the people who actually use it
The owner may read English. The person at the desk at six in the morning often does not, and they open the software forty times a day.
- The interface comes in 12 languages, Vietnamese and English among them, and each person picks their own.
- The member page is in the member's language, not the studio's, and so are the receipts and the messages they receive.
- The staff screens, the member page, the booking page and the automatic messages to members are in Vietnamese. The help manual stays in English.
- Dates, amounts and phone numbers follow Vietnam: đồng without decimals, Asia/Ho_Chi_Minh time, and +84 as the default phone prefix.
Email today, not Zalo
Zalo is how most people in Vietnam talk to their gym. We would rather tell you now than let you find out after you sign.
- MoveMembers does not send messages through Zalo. There is no connection to it today.
- Reminders and receipts go by email, which every plan includes.
- On the Max plan you can also send by WhatsApp Business and SMS, through your own accounts.
- If Zalo is your only channel, plan to keep using it beside the software for now.
Personal data, and the part no software can do for you
Your studio holds names, phone numbers, photos, birthdates, payment history and signed waivers. Vietnam has a personal data protection law, and it covers what a studio collects about its members.
- Export your data whenever you want, without going through support.
- Delete a member profile for real, with a recovery window you set yourself, for the day somebody deletes the wrong person.
- Read back who changed what and when, so the question of who edited a balance has an answer.
- Give each person a role (owner, admin, coach, front desk), enforced on the server and not by hiding a button.
- Lock the desk tablet behind a per-person PIN, and put two-factor authentication on the owner account.
- It does not write your privacy notice for you.
- It does not decide what you are allowed to keep, or for how long. Ask an adviser about your own case.
- It does not make your studio compliant. Your studio is responsible for the data, and no software can hold that position on your behalf.
This page describes software. It is not legal advice, we are not lawyers, and what your studio has to do depends on what it collects and what it does with it.

Where another tool is the better answer
A page that wins on every line does not read like the truth. These are the cases where you should look elsewhere.
You run a chain across several countries and need the ecosystem of a global vendor. Switching software costs time, and it is only worth it when the gain is obvious.
Your members are reached almost only on Zalo and you want the software to write to them there. We do not, and we will not pretend.
You need electronic invoices issued by the software. Keep the tool you use for that, and use MoveMembers for bookings, memberships and payments.
And what MoveMembers does not do:
No Zalo messaging.
No automatic confirmation of a VietQR or MoMo transfer. The desk marks it received.
No electronic invoices.
No access control hardware: no gates, no turnstiles, no face terminal.
No app in the App Store or on Google Play. The member page opens in a browser and can be added to the home screen.
Worth switching, or not
Choose MoveMembers if
Your members pay by VietQR, transfer or MoMo, your desk works in Vietnamese, and you run one or two locations. You want every payment on the member's file and a seat that waits for the money.
Stay where you are if
Your members live on Zalo and you need the software to write there, or you need electronic invoices from the same tool. Switching software costs time, and it is only worth it when the gain is obvious.
What gym software costs here
You are billed in baht on the Southeast Asia price, the same one as in Thailand. The đồng amounts below are an indication, not the billed currency.
Free up to 20 active members, then 2,490 THB a month up to 200 members, 4,990 THB unlimited. Two months free on the yearly plan.
Prices shown in THB.
Indicative only: about 1.942.000 ₫ a month for Pro and 3.892.000 ₫ for Max, at 1 THB = 780 VND. You are billed in baht.
Try it next to what you already use
Import your members from a CSV file, run one class on MoveMembers, and see for yourself whether the VietQR flow saves your desk time. Nothing to switch off, no card to enter, and the free plan stays free.

Questions from studios here.
Does it work with VietQR?
Yes. VietQR is a payment method: you upload the QR of your own bank account once, the amount is shown beside it, and the member sends the transfer reference so the desk can match it. MoveMembers does not check your bank account automatically, so you confirm the payment, and the software makes that one tap instead of a search.
What about MoMo?
It works the same way, as its own labelled payment method. You upload the QR, the member pays and sends the reference, and you confirm it.
Is the software in Vietnamese?
Yes: the staff screens, the member page, the booking page and the automatic messages to members, along with English and the other languages. The help manual stays in English. Each person picks their own language, so an English-speaking owner and a Vietnamese-speaking front desk can share one account.
Can I make members pay before they attend?
Yes. A studio can hold the seat until the payment is confirmed instead of confirming the booking straight away. It is one setting, and a studio that never turns it on behaves exactly as before.
What currency am I billed in?
In Thai baht, on the Southeast Asia price: Free, 2,490 THB a month for Pro and 4,990 THB for Max. The đồng amounts on this site are an indication worked out from a rate we update by hand. What your members pay you is in đồng, and that has nothing to do with our invoice.
Can I message members on Zalo?
No, not today. Reminders and receipts go by email. On the Max plan you can add WhatsApp Business and SMS through your own accounts.
Are the receipts electronic invoices?
No. They are payment receipts from your studio, with a number, the date, the method and the amount. If the law requires electronic invoices in your case, keep the tool you use for that.
Does it comply with Vietnamese data protection law?
The question does not have that shape. Your studio is responsible for its members' data, so compliance is yours and cannot be bought from a vendor. The software gives you the means to answer a request: export, deletion with a recovery window, a record of who changed what, and roles enforced on the server.
Do my members need to install anything?
No. The member page opens in the browser and can be added to the home screen like an app.
Your members already scan a QR. Let it land on their file.
Start free up to 20 active members. Upload your QR the same afternoon.
