Gym software in Thailand ranges from nothing to a few thousand baht a month. MoveMembers is free forever up to 20 active members, then ฿2,490 a month up to 200, and ฿4,990 for unlimited. Foreign platforms quote in dollars, per location.
The three tiers, in baht
Every price is published, so you can budget before you talk to anyone. Free covers one location and up to 20 active members, with class scheduling, online booking, the member portal, self check‑in, LINE connect and Stripe payments. Pro is ฿2,490 a month and lifts the cap to 200 active members, adding message templates, group messages, automations and reports. Max is ฿4,990 a month, removes the member cap, and adds multiple locations, the front‑desk shop, WhatsApp and SMS.
Annual billing costs ten months instead of twelve. Archived and frozen members do not count against the cap, so a gym with three hundred names on file and eighty people actually training is an eighty-member gym for pricing.
Why a dollar price is not the price you pay
A platform that publishes $99 a month is not charging the same as one that publishes ฿2,490. At a normal rate the dollar price is roughly seventy percent higher in baht, and that gap is the single most common reason a Thai gym owner walks away from a demo. MoveMembers bills in baht: you are charged the baht amount, not a dollar amount converted at whatever rate applies on the day.
Two other lines move the real bill. Per-location billing multiplies the subscription by every room you run, which is why a two-room studio can pay double what the price page implies. And a marketplace commission takes a percentage of what you collect: at two percent on three hundred thousand baht of monthly revenue, that is six thousand baht a month on top of the subscription. MoveMembers takes no commission on your bookings.
What you still pay for, whatever you choose
Card processing is the one cost no software removes. Stripe charges its normal percentage on card payments, and that goes to Stripe, not to us.
- Card processing fees, paid to Stripe at their published rate
- Nothing for PromptPay: the QR is generated from your own number, and the transfer goes bank to bank
- No setup fee, no onboarding fee, no per-staff fee
- No commission on memberships, class packs or bookings
When free is genuinely enough
A single-room gym with fewer than 20 people training regularly can run its entire week on the free tier: the schedule, online booking, the member portal, check‑in at the door, LINE messages and Stripe payments are all included. It is not a trial that expires. The tier exists because a gym that outgrows it has a reason to pay, and one that never does was never going to.
