Which gym software takes PromptPay?
How a PromptPay payment reaches a member's file, and what no software can do for you.

The short answer
MoveMembers generates a PromptPay QR from your own phone number or tax ID, with the amount already inside it, so the member scans and pays the exact sum. No merchant account, no card, and the desk marks it received on the member's file.
The QR is generated, not uploaded
PromptPay is a standard. From a registered phone number or tax ID, software can build the QR itself, and it can put the amount inside it. That matters more than it sounds: a QR without an amount asks the payer to type the sum, and the sum they type is the sum you receive. With the amount encoded, a five hundred baht day pass cannot become fifty.
Because the QR is built rather than stored, it is per payment rather than per gym. The member scans the code for the thing they are buying, and the reference on the desk matches what they paid for.
What the software cannot do, and says so
No third-party software can watch a personal Thai bank account and tick off transfers automatically. The bank does not open that door. Confirmation is therefore human: the money arrives, someone at the desk sees it and marks the payment received, and the member's file carries the amount, the date and what it covered.
That is a smaller step than it sounds, and it is honest about where the work is. What it replaces is a screenshot sent over chat and a name matched from memory, which is what most gyms are doing today.
Cards, wallets and transfers, side by side
A gym rarely uses one method. The same membership can be paid by card through Stripe, by PromptPay at the desk, in cash, or by a wallet transfer, and each is recorded the same way against the member.
- PromptPay: QR generated with the amount, no processing fee, bank to bank
- Cards and recurring memberships: Stripe, at Stripe's published rate
- GCash, in the Philippines: the gym uploads its own QR once, and the amount is shown beside it
- Cash and bank transfer: recorded at the desk, with a receipt the member can keep
Receipts, and why they matter here
A transfer with no receipt is the payment a member disputes three months later. Every payment recorded, whatever the method, produces a receipt the member can see in their own space and receive over LINE or email. It carries the gym's name and logo, and it is the same document whether the money arrived by card or by QR.
Which gym software takes PromptPay?
No. A PromptPay ID registered to a mobile number, a national ID or a tax ID is enough to generate a valid QR. A business account changes nothing about how the software builds the code.
Yes, when the payment has an amount. The member scans and their banking app already shows the sum, so they confirm rather than type. This is what separates a generated PromptPay QR from a photographed one.
No, and no software can promise otherwise for a personal Thai account: banks do not expose those transactions to third parties. The desk marks the payment received, and it then lives on the member's file with a receipt.
Not from us. A PromptPay transfer goes bank to bank; there is no processing percentage the way there is on a card. Only card payments carry Stripe's published rate.
