Can gym members book classes through LINE?
What the member actually does, and what the gym sees on the other side.

The short answer
Yes. A member opens your class list from a LINE message, picks a session and confirms, with no app to install and no password to remember. The confirmation and the reminder come back through LINE, in their own language, and check-in happens at the door.
What the member does
They tap a link in a LINE message and land on your schedule, already identified. They pick a class, confirm, and the booking appears in your roster immediately. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is installed: the member space is a web page that can be added to a phone home screen if they want it there, which is what people actually do with it.
A member who has never booked before can use a public booking link that needs no account at all. They pick a session, leave a name and a phone number, and the gym sees them on the roster with the rest.
What comes back through LINE
Once a gym connects its LINE official account, messages travel both ways. The gym can send a class reminder, a payment receipt or a broadcast to a group of members; the member can reply and the reply lands in the gym inbox rather than on someone's personal phone.
- Booking confirmations, sent the moment the seat is taken
- Class reminders before the session, so the seat is not held by someone who forgot
- Waitlist notices when a seat frees up
- Payment receipts, with the amount and what it covers
Why LINE and not an app
In Thailand, LINE is where the conversation already happens. A gym that asks its members to install a branded app is asking for a download, a sign-up and a password before the first booking, and most of them lose people at each of those three steps. Sending the same booking link into a chat the member already reads removes all three.
It also fixes the message the gym sends when a class moves. A LINE broadcast reaches the people who booked, in the app they check, instead of an email nobody opens or a paper note on the door.
What it takes to set up
A LINE official account, which is free to create, and the connection settings entered once in the gym's own settings. Members then link their account the first time they open a message. Nothing on the gym side needs a developer.
Can gym members book classes through LINE?
No. The class list opens as a web page from the LINE message, and the member can add it to their phone home screen if they want it to behave like an app. There is no download, no app store account and no password to create.
Yes. A public booking link lets a first-timer pick a session and leave a name and a phone number, with no account created. They appear on the roster like any other booking, and the gym can turn the link off if it does not want walk-in bookings.
Yes. Once the LINE account is connected, replies arrive in the gym inbox rather than on a staff member's personal phone, so anyone at the desk can answer and the history stays with the member's file.
LINE is the default in Thailand, Japan and Taiwan. Elsewhere the same booking link works over WhatsApp, email or SMS: the channel changes, the member experience does not.
