Does this fit a studio in Phnom Penh?

It fits if members pay by KHQR from a bank app, coaches and members move between Khmer and English, and your classes need a booking list, whether Khmer boxing, kickboxing or yoga. It does not fit if Telegram messages or tax invoices have to come from the software.

Loose ends in a Phnom Penh studio

A studio that mixes local and foreign members tends to run on several apps and a paper register.

  • Two languages, one register

Coaches write names in Khmer, foreign members in Latin letters, and the paper register ends up with two spellings of the same person.

  • KHQR scanned, Telegram sent

The member scans a KHQR in a bank app and forwards the confirmation on Telegram. The booking waits until someone looks.

  • Class packs bought, then forgotten

A pack of sessions sold in one month and half used in the next needs a balance someone can read, not a number remembered.

  • Dollar prices, riel change

Quote in dollars, give change in riel, and the tally for the day never quite adds up.

What MoveMembers changes

Your KHQR on the screen, the language each person reads, and a balance that counts down by itself.

Your KHQR, quoted with the sum

Add your code once and it appears beside the figure due. The payer comes back with the confirmation and you record it.

Khmer or English, set by each person

A foreign member can read their page and messages in English while the desk works in Khmer, all in one studio account.

Packs that count down

Sell a pack of sessions and each booked class draws it down, so the balance is on the member's page and not in your head.

Dollars, riel and KHQR on one record

The studio picks one currency symbol and receipts follow it.

One symbol for the whole studio

US Dollar is in the currency list, and you can type a custom symbol such as ៛ instead. Amounts and receipts use whichever you choose.

KHQR payments are confirmed by a person

MoveMembers cannot see your bank, so it cannot match a KHQR payment itself. Someone on the team marks it received once the reference fits.

MoveMembers keeps no part of a payment, whatever the method.

Receipts a foreign member can read too

A numbered receipt settles "did I pay?" without a trip through the chat history.

  • Pick US Dollar or type ៛, and every amount follows.
  • Prefix and footer set once; PDFs by email.

A payment receipt, not a tax invoice.

Khmer and English, side by side

Coaches, reception and members rarely share one language all day. Each person reads the software in the one they choose.

  • Khmer or English on each person's screens, whichever they choose.

Telegram stays outside

In Phnom Penh, Telegram is where many members talk to a studio. The software cannot write there. It emails reminders and receipts on every plan. Max adds WhatsApp Business and SMS.

  • No Telegram link exists at present.

Member data

What the software gives you to look after names, phone numbers, payments and waivers.

  • Export your data whenever you like, without going through support.
  • Set roles (owner, admin, coach, reception) that the server applies, not merely hidden buttons.
What the software will not do for you:
  • It will not write your privacy notice.

Software, not legal advice. What a studio must do depends on what it collects.

What you get

No module to add later, no per-feature upsell.

  • KHQR and bank transfer, each named
  • Khmer or English per person
  • Pack balances that count down
  • Dollar or riel symbol

Also documented on their own: payments and billing, scheduling and bookings and the member page.

When something else fits better

No tool suits everyone.

  • You teach one Khmer boxing class a week to the same small group, and everyone pays in cash. A notebook may be enough.

Not included

  • Writing to members on Telegram.

  • Producing tax invoices.

Questions from studios here.

Can I sell a pack of sessions?

Yes. Packs and credits are sold like memberships. Each booked class uses one, and the balance shows on the member's page.

Can foreign members book in English while the desk uses Khmer?

Yes. Language is a personal setting, so a member can read their page and messages in English while staff use Khmer, with one studio account.

Do I have to choose between dollars and riel?

A studio has one currency symbol. Pick US Dollar or type ៛, and amounts and receipts follow it.

Every KHQR scan can end up on a profile.
