Does this fit a gym or studio in Cebu?
It fits if people from Cebu City, Mandaue or Lapu-Lapu pay by GCash or Maya, if some stay only a few weeks, and if the desk is comfortable in Filipino or English. It does not fit if every screen has to be in Cebuano, or if Messenger and Viber messages must come from the software.
Where a Cebu studio loses time
A smaller scene than Manila does not mean fewer loose ends. It means one person handles all of them.
Cebuano in the room, another language on screen
Staff and members chat in Cebuano while the software speaks Filipino or English. Fine if you know it beforehand, an unpleasant surprise if you do not.
Visitors want one class, not a contract
Someone staying two weeks wants a drop-in or a short pack. A tool that only sells monthly memberships sends them away.
A late-night payment, matched the next morning
A transfer made after dinner gets paired with its booking the next day, from memory, by whoever unlocks the door.
The owner is also the coach and the cashier
Where one person does everything, every extra app to open is an app that stays closed.
What changes with MoveMembers
Every kind of purchase on one profile, a payment screen that quotes the sum, and a seat that can wait.
Passes, packs and memberships together
Sell one class, a bundle of visits or a monthly plan. Whatever the person buys, resident or traveller, lands on the same profile.
GCash or Maya on the payment screen
The QR you add appears beside the figure due. The payer comes back with the receipt reference, you log it, and MoveMembers holds no funds.
A pending seat for the evening rush
Switch on one option and a booking remains provisional until you confirm the payment. Leave it off and the studio runs as before.
Cash, wallet and the occasional card
A visitor pays cash or by card while a regular scans the wallet on their phone.
Cards for visitors, through your own Stripe
A traveller may prefer a card. Online payments run through a Stripe account of your own where your business can open one, and the software works without it.
Wallets are confirmed by hand
MoveMembers cannot read your wallet history. You mark a payment received when its reference lines up, which takes seconds.
None of these payments carries a fee to MoveMembers.
A peso receipt a visitor can keep
Someone leaving the island still carries proof of what they paid.
- Receipts are numbered, dated and written in pesos.
- They are emailed as a PDF, accents in names included.
A payment receipt, not a tax document.
English and Filipino on screen, Cebuano in the room
Cebuano is the language of the room in much of Cebu, but it is not an interface language today.
- Cebuano is not an interface language today; Filipino and English are, and each person picks theirs.
Email first, WhatsApp on Max
In Cebu too, members mostly write to a studio on Messenger. The software emails reminders and receipts on every plan. On Max you can also send through WhatsApp Business and SMS, using accounts you own.
- Messenger is not a channel the software writes on.
Member data
What the software gives you to look after names, phone numbers, payments and waivers.
- Export your data whenever you want, without going through support.
- Give each person a role (owner, admin, coach, front desk), enforced on the server and not by hiding a button.
- It does not write your privacy notice for you.
Software, not legal advice. What a studio must do depends on what it collects.
What you get
No module to add later, no per-feature upsell.
- Visitor passes next to memberships
- GCash and Maya, each named
- Cards through your own Stripe
- A Filipino or English desk
Also documented on their own: payments and billing, scheduling and bookings and the member page.
When something else fits better
No tool suits everyone.
Your front desk needs every screen in Cebuano. It is not an interface language, so find that out before you commit.
Not included
A Cebuano-language interface.
Tax receipts.
Switch or stay
Choose MoveMembers if
You sell passes to people passing through, members pay by GCash or Maya, and the desk is happy in English or Filipino.
Stay put if
The whole desk needs Cebuano screens, or your members only answer on Messenger and the software must write there.
What it costs
The MoveMembers invoice is in baht, on the Southeast Asia price. What members hand you stays in pesos.
Free up to 20 active members, then 2,490 THB a month for Pro and 4,990 THB for Max.
Prices shown in THB.
Indicative only: about ₱4,360 a month for Pro and ₱8,730 for Max, at 1 THB = 1.75 PHP. You are billed in baht.
Try it first
Add a few members from a CSV and sell one visitor pass through the booking page.

Questions from studios here.
Is there a Cebuano interface?
No. Filipino, English and other languages are available, and each person picks theirs. Cebuano is not among them today.
Can I sell a short pass to someone visiting Cebu?
Yes. Besides memberships you can sell class packs and single drop-ins, and each purchase is recorded on that person's profile like any other.
How does a visitor pay?
By GCash, Maya or cash at the desk, all recorded alike, or by card if you have a Stripe account of your own for online payments.
Where to go next
