Does this suit a studio in Metro Manila?
It does when classes fill quickly, members pay through GCash or Maya, and the desk slides between Filipino and English. It does not when Messenger or Viber messages have to leave the software, or when it must print official BIR receipts.
What a busy Manila studio runs into
A boutique or boxing gym here can sell a week of classes in one day, then lose the evening to payment questions.
Receipts buried in chat threads
Members forward their GCash receipts through Messenger or Viber, and the desk scrolls back through the thread to work out which class each one settles.
Traffic empties seats at the last minute
Somebody stuck on the road cancels late, the seat stays empty, and with no cutoff and no waitlist nobody else ever gets the chance.
A second branch means a second list
Metro Manila is a chain of cities. A studio that opens in another one often ends up holding two member lists that never quite agree.
"I'll send it after class"
Most front desks have heard that sentence, and by the time the transfer comes the seat has often been given to someone else.
How MoveMembers handles it
The wallet your members already use, a waitlist that moves by itself, and one subscription for several sites.
GCash or Maya, shown with the sum
Upload your QR once and the booking page presents it with the figure to pay. The member sends the transaction reference, and you mark the payment received.
A cutoff and a waitlist that fill seats
Decide how many hours ahead a member may still cancel online. A full class takes a waitlist, and the next name moves up as soon as a seat is released.
Branches under one roof
A studio in Makati and another in Quezon City can share one Max subscription, up to 3 locations. Free and Pro cover one.
Three ways to pay, one member profile
In a Manila studio the same class can be paid by wallet code, bank transfer or cash at the desk.
GCash, Maya and QR Ph, each with a name
A receipt states which wallet was used. QR Ph is useful for the member who is on neither of the first two: many bank and wallet apps can scan it.
Nothing is matched for you
MoveMembers cannot see your wallet or bank account, so a person at the desk confirms each transfer once its reference fits.
No percentage of any payment is kept, whichever method the member picks.
Peso receipts with your studio's name
When a member asks months later whether they paid, the receipt answers instead of you.
- Amounts in pesos, under the prefix you chose in Settings, Finance.
- Names such as Niño or Peña keep their accents in the emailed PDF.
Not an official BIR document.
Filipino and English, mixed the way the city does
At a Manila front desk both languages usually share a sentence. Each person reads the software in the one they read best.
- Each person picks Filipino or English for their own screens, and members do the same for theirs.
Email, with WhatsApp on Max
In Metro Manila members usually write to a studio on Messenger, and the software does not. It emails reminders and receipts on every plan. On Max you can also send through WhatsApp Business and SMS, using accounts you own.
- The software cannot write to members on Messenger or Viber.
Member data
What the software gives you to look after names, phone numbers, payments and waivers.
- Export your data whenever you want, without going through support.
- Give each person a role (owner, admin, coach, front desk), enforced on the server and not by hiding a button.
- It does not write your privacy notice for you.
Software, not legal advice. What a studio must do depends on what it collects.
What you get
No module to add later, no per-feature upsell.
- GCash, Maya and QR Ph, each named
- Late-cancel cutoff with a waitlist behind it
- Packs, credits and single classes
- Receipts in pesos
Also documented on their own: payments and billing, scheduling and bookings and the member page.
When something else fits better
No tool suits everyone.
You run one drop-in room where nobody books ahead and nobody pays by wallet. A cash drawer and a notebook may be all you need.
Not included
Writing to members on Messenger or Viber.
Printing BIR official receipts.
Switch or stay
Choose MoveMembers if
Members pay by GCash or Maya before class, the desk reads Filipino and English, and you want proof of payment on the file and a seat that waits for the money.
Stay put if
Messenger is where your members live and you need the software to write there, or the same tool must print official receipts.
What it costs
Your MoveMembers invoice is in baht on the Southeast Asia price. Whatever members pay you is in pesos; the peso figures below are only an indication.
Free up to 20 active members, then 2,490 THB a month for Pro and 4,990 THB for Max.
Prices shown in THB.
Indicative only: about ₱4,360 a month for Pro and ₱8,730 for Max, at 1 THB = 1.75 PHP. You are billed in baht.
Try it first
Import your members from a CSV and run tomorrow evening's class through the booking page.

Questions from studios here.
What happens when a member cancels late because of traffic?
Before the cutoff you set, the member cancels online and the seat goes to the waitlist. After it, the booking stands, and you decide whether a no-show carries a fee.
Do GCash and Maya need separate setups?
Each one is its own payment method with its own QR and label. Set up the one you use, or both, and the receipt records which the member chose.
Can I run two branches on one account?
On Max, yes, up to 3 sites. Free and Pro cover one location, so a second branch means moving to Max.
Where to go next
