Is this the right software for a studio in Hanoi?

It suits a studio whose members scan a bank QR or use MoMo, whose team works mostly in Vietnamese, and whose memberships sometimes have to stop for weeks. It does not suit one that needs Zalo messages from the software, or electronic invoices out of it.

Loose ends in a Hanoi studio

A small studio with a handful of coaches carries the same paperwork as a large club, with fewer hands to do it.

  • Members leave for Tet and nobody knows if they return

A member goes home for the holiday, the month keeps running, and the awkward conversation starts when they come back.

  • Zalo is the receipt, and the inbox

Payment proof arrives as a Zalo picture, in the very place where the desk answers questions, so proofs sink between conversations.

  • Software that expects a big club

A studio of one room and three coaches does not need a system built for a chain, or priced like one.

  • The owner is the only one who knows who paid

When payment status lives in one person's memory, a day off turns into a week of questions.

What MoveMembers does here

A membership you can pause, a payment screen that quotes the sum, and Vietnamese on every staff screen.

Pause, then pick it up again

Freeze a membership for the weeks a member is away. When they return it resumes, with no need to cancel it and set it up again.

Your bank QR on the payment screen

The code sits next to the figure due, the member pays in the banking app and replies with the transaction code, and the desk logs it.

Staff in Vietnamese, members in their choice

Coaches use Vietnamese screens, and a member who prefers English changes only their own page.

A QR from the bank, MoMo and cash

The same few routes every day, each recorded under its own name.

MoMo in your list, set up by you

It has its own name and QR in the payment methods, so a receipt tells you which route was used. Nothing is connected to MoMo on your behalf.

Transfers are ticked off by hand

Because MoveMembers cannot look into your bank, a team member ticks a payment off when its code fits.

MoveMembers keeps nothing from a payment, whichever route it takes.

Receipts for the member who asks

Short and numbered, so a question about last month has an answer.

  • Prefix and footer set once, then on every receipt.
  • Emailed as PDF, with Vietnamese names untouched.

A proof of payment, nothing more official.

Vietnamese first, English when a member asks

Most of the desk's day is in Vietnamese. A member who prefers English changes their own page, and nothing else moves.

  • Booking page, member page and messages are available in Vietnamese; the help manual stays in English.

Zalo stays outside

In Hanoi, Zalo is where members write to a studio. The software cannot write there. It emails reminders and receipts on every plan. Max adds WhatsApp Business and SMS.

  • Zalo is not connected, on any plan.

Member data

What the software gives you to look after names, phone numbers, payments and waivers.

  • Export your data whenever you want, without going through support.
  • Give each person a role (owner, admin, coach, front desk), enforced on the server and not by hiding a button.
What the software will not do for you:
  • It does not write your privacy notice for you.

Software, not legal advice. What a studio must do depends on what it collects.

What you get

No module to add later, no per-feature upsell.

  • Freeze and resume a membership
  • VietQR and MoMo as named routes
  • Vietnamese staff screens
  • Provisional bookings until payment lands

Also documented on their own: payments and billing, scheduling and bookings and the member page.

When something else fits better

No tool suits everyone.

  • Your members answer only on Zalo, and the software would have to write to them there.

Not included

  • Messages through Zalo.

  • Issuing electronic invoices.

Switch or stay

Choose MoveMembers if

Members pay by VietQR or MoMo, the desk works in Vietnamese, and some memberships need to stop and restart around the holidays.

Stay put if

All your members answer on Zalo and the software must write there, or you expect it to issue the electronic invoices.

Questions from studios here.

Can I pause a membership for a member who travels?

Yes. A membership can be frozen and picked up again later, so there is no need to cancel it and start over when the member returns.

Do members book in Vietnamese?

Yes. The booking page and the member page can be in Vietnamese, and each member can switch to English or another language for themselves.

What does a first week look like?

Import your members from a CSV, add your bank QR, and run a single class through the booking page. Nothing has to be switched off beforehand.

Pause for Tet, resume in spring, keep every payment on file.
