Yoga studio software in Thailand, built around baht, PromptPay and LINE
A studio in Thailand rarely has one kind of student. There are residents on a monthly pass, people who bought ten classes and travel for two weeks, and visitors who just want to try one. This page is about running all of them from one schedule, in baht, with the payment methods and the chat app your students already use.
- Free forever
- No credit card
- No sales call
In short: MoveMembers is booking, membership and payment software for gyms, studios and camps in Thailand. It is free up to 20 active members, then Pro costs 2,490 baht a month and Max 4,990 baht. It connects to your own LINE Official Account, records PromptPay payments and runs in 15 languages.
- 10countries, Thailand first
- 15languages, including Thai
- 0%commission on what you collect
Three kinds of student, and one list for all of them
The three groups ask the studio for different things, and a paper register or a shared spreadsheet makes you remember which is which. Here each one is a pass with its own rules, attached to the same person.
Residents on a membership
A weekly, monthly or longer plan with a start and an end date. The file shows when it ends, so the renewal conversation happens before it lapses.
Students on a class card
A ten-class card with a validity you choose. It counts down at each booking, and a class cancelled in time gives the credit back.
Visitors trying one class
A public trial link lets someone hold a place with only a name and a way to reach them. No account. The desk can sell them a card under the same name afterwards.
A pause for travel
A card can be frozen and its end date is pushed back by the length of the pause, so a student who leaves for a month does not lose the classes they paid for.
Prices in baht, and the ways your students pay
Prices are set in baht, and the member area shows them that way. At the counter you can build a PromptPay QR with the amount already inside it, or record cash and transfers. Every payment can have a numbered receipt that carries your tax number.
Online, card payments go through your own Stripe account, so the money lands with you and MoveMembers takes no commission. PromptPay also appears at the online checkout, but only when your Stripe account has it switched on, so check that on the Stripe side first.
For students who stay, there are two ways to pay monthly by card, and the student chooses. A long plan can be split into a fixed number of monthly payments that stop after the last one. A plan that simply renews can go on auto-pay, which the student sets up from their own area once you have allowed it in the settings. It is off until you allow it, it needs Stripe connected, and it never applies to a class card.
A full mat room takes a waitlist, not an argument
Set the number of places for each class to match your mats. When it is full, the next student joins a waitlist, and when somebody cancels the first in line moves up by itself and is told straight away.
You set the rules once and they apply to everyone: how many days ahead booking opens, how many hours before class a student can cancel and keep the credit, what happens to someone who books and does not come, and a gap between two classes in the same room. You can change one date, say a workshop day with fewer places, without touching the weekly class.
- A timetable with its own number of places for each class
- A waitlist that moves people up on its own
- A booking window, a cancellation cut-off and a no-show rule that you set
- A different number of places on a single date
Booking that starts in the chat students already use
Many students would rather message the studio on LINE than install another app. So you send the link to your member area into the chat, it opens inside LINE's own browser, and the student picks a class and books. Confirmations, reminders and receipts go out through LINE or email from your own account, and they come with the free plan.
Be clear about what this is not. There is no booking screen built into LINE itself, and no phone app in the stores, so reminders arrive as LINE or email messages and not as phone push notifications.
Paying teachers who are paid in different ways
In many studios one teacher is paid per class and another is paid per student who came. You can set both rates for each teacher, and the monthly pay report multiplies the classes taught and the students present by those rates for the dates you pick, then exports the result. The pay report sits in Reports, which is part of Pro.
Body assessments, if your studio does them
Studios that run posture checks, flexibility tests or body measurements can use assessment sheets in the Performance module. Your team fills in a whole sheet on one screen with the previous value shown under each line, and the student can compare any two dates on their phone. Body measurements are never ranked and never earn a record badge. The module is included in every plan, and you choose what a student sees of each sheet.
Readings are typed in by your team or the student. There is no connection to smart scales or body scanners.
What it does not do
- No direct debit from a bank account and no bank mandate. Recurring payments are by card
- No app in the phone stores. The member area opens in a browser and can be added to the home screen
- Retreats sold as a stay with rooms and meals are a different job, and have their own page
- Reports and insights, message templates, group messages and automations are part of Pro, not the free plan
- Above 20 active members, adding members, sending messages and taking payments stop until you move to a paid plan. The timetable, check-in and exporting your data carry on
Questions owners ask
Does it work for a yoga studio in Thailand?
Yes. Prices are in baht, a PromptPay QR can be built at the counter, receipts are numbered with your tax number, and reminders go through LINE. The team can work in Thai while a student reads their own area in English.
How is this different from the general yoga studio page?
The general page is about the studio workflow anywhere: packs, waitlists, memberships and reminders. This one starts from Thailand: baht, PromptPay, LINE and the mix of residents and visitors. If you want the studio workflow in full, read the yoga and pilates studio software page.
Can a visitor book a class without an account?
A first-timer can hold a place in a trial session from a public link by leaving a name and a way to contact them. The desk can then sell them a class card under the same name. Regulars use the member area.
Can students pay by PromptPay?
At the counter, yes: you build a PromptPay QR with the amount in it. Online, PromptPay shows up at checkout only if your Stripe account has it enabled. Cash and transfers can be recorded too.
Can students pay monthly by card automatically?
Yes, if you allow it. Auto-pay is off by default, needs Stripe connected, and applies to plans that renew. Class cards are not charged automatically. A fixed run of monthly payments is a separate choice for longer plans.
What does the free plan leave out for a yoga studio?
Reports, message templates, group messages and automations need Pro. The cap is 20 active members. Booking, the waitlist, class cards, memberships, payments, receipts and the member area are all in the free plan.
I run retreats as well as classes. Is that covered?
The class side is: schedule, cards, waitlist and payments. A retreat sold as a multi-day stay is a different job, and the yoga retreat page says where the software helps and where it does not.
